Who Is Sammi Price

Sammi Price is an Australian-born, Wisconsin-raised, and New York City based voiceover artist, actor, performance artist, writer, queer advocate, and Front of House Manager at Beefbar NYC. Sammi has performed across countless New York City stages as well as regionally, and is a member of the Actor's Equity Association. They studied the craft of acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts Acting Conservatory in Manhattan, NY. Sammi is the founder of 'Sammi Price Voice', providing voiceovers for commercial, audio book, character animation and the film/television industry. Collaborations have included companies such as The World Health Organization, L’Oreal, Pfizer, 104.9 FM, Panasonic, AirBnb, Mastercard, The Sims4, Western Union, ghost-recording for multi-million dollar enterprises, and many more. Sammi is also a live entertainment host/Lead Announcer with Spotlight Dance Cup, and has emceed countless live events in professional dance competitions, trivia and karaoke nights, to jolly Oktoberfest celebrations at Radegast Hall & Biergarten in Brooklyn, NY. Along with being a hair and makeup artist with backstage experience in theatre, film, and television, Sammi has performed poetry centering on human rights activism in venues and universities across the country, including their one-woman show, “Being Human” (premiered at 53Above Broadway, New York, New York). After studying at Marina Abramovic’s “Cleaning the House” workshop in Greece, Sammi implemented the discoveries in their on-going long-durational performance art pieces inviting audiences to look within, inspiring internal and emotional growth.
Sammi is also a “Court Appointed Special Advocate” with CASA NYC, advocating for children and youth in New York City foster care and for those at high risk of foster care placement, as well as a board member for “Aveqmoi”, a collective encouraging inclusion of marginalized genders within queer nightlife- nominated twice for best event producers at the Glam Awards NYC.
